Month 28: July 5 2011

Lana's vocabulary has improved a lot. Everyday, she has new words.
And she is making sentences now!
She asks questions like "What is daddy doing?', "Mommy, where are you?", "I like it", "No like it", "I want Tetina". Yea, titith became titina.
She also puts the whole grammar in her sentences, like "I want a wipe".
She very cutely says "Sorry", "Take it", "Eat", "Watch TB" (Watch TV).
She knows lots of animals, and their associated sound.

Two weeks ago, she said "Caca", then went to the box where the potty is stored, opened it, removed the potty, removed her pants and diapers, and sat on it (all byherself). She is taking matters in her own hands :) But it was too late :) Based on that, mommy asked the teacher at daycare to start potty training. Lana is accepting to sit on the toilet, but so far, nothing is going in there.

This week end, she swam all by herself, with the hand floats. She was very happy. But after a while, she said "Big", and removed them. Yes indeed, there are no floats the size of her small hands.

She opens and closes the garage door with the clicker.
As soon as mommy takes the main street that leads to the second street where the house is, Lana asks for the clicker. She knows we got close to the house.

Her feet are growing more and more. She already passed the size 6, and is almost a 7!!!

Her curiosity increases everyday. She watches carefully what mommy and daddy do, and copy them after that.
Mommy and daddy got new electrical recliners. Daddy suspected Lana will make a game out of them. Indeed, as soon as she saw daddy pushing the button, she run and went on for a while pressing all the buttons, and enjoying the action she is triggering on the couch.

She is starting to get attached to objects. In addition to the required "bear" for her to sleep, there is now the "Monkeys" towel, and the "banket" (blanket).

When at the supermarket or shopping center, she insists on getting her own shopping cart. And she fills it with all what she wants. Then she heads to the cashier, puts the objects to buy on the scrolling table. She used to choose things in moderation. Last week, while mommy was buying her new shoes, she filled her basket with more than 50 pairs of shoes!! Yea, there is no reason why Paris Hilton would have more shoes than her :)
