Lately, Lana has being going to bed on her own. She suddenly stops playing, runs to bed, and sleeps pretty fast. For 11 hours straight! Mommy and Daddy are in heaven :) Nobody knows how long this will last!
In the past, mommy had to drag Lana to bed, and it used to take her 30 to 45 mins to sleep.
Lana has many more words added to her vocabulary, like "Tshou" for Shoes, "Tchouchou" for the train, "Wawawawa" like the indians, “caker” for crakers, “Crou” for crayons, “Car”, Daycare, Diaper, Key, “Baby”, “Deuty” for dirty...
She loves to play hide and seek. She hides in the closet, and waits for mommy to find her. She giggles when she hears mommy saying "where is Lana?"

Month 21: Jan 22 2011
Lana had her second otitis this winter. The score so far is much better than last year.

Lately, Lana likes to do her business privately.
She goes behind the couch, and starts pushing. And if mommy gets close to her, she pushes her away. She doesn't want anyone to see her when pooping! :)

Month 21: January 05 2011
Lana today for the first time knocked on the door, instead of banging and breaking the door.
A while back, she needed to be changed. She said “Caca”. But mommy and daddy had just changed her, so they ignored her. She went to her changing pad, and started tapping on it. Still ignored. Desperate, she carried the changing pad and dragged it from her bedroom to the room where mommy and daddy are sitting. Still ignored. Now really desperate, she climbed on the changing pad and laid on it. When Daddy decided finally to check why she is crying, he found her trying to change her diaper herself. She simply gave up on mommy and daddy, and decided to take matters in her own hands. Smart girl :)
