Lana and the elevator's alarm
Two days ago, mommy forgot something at work. She went back with Lanoussi to get it. On the way up the elevator, Lana pressed the Alarm button (she loves pressing buttons). And then again, on the way down, she pressed the alarm button. When leaving the building, the security guard was standing at the door. He looked at Lana and told her "You sure like to play with that alarm button, don't you?". Of course, Lana gave him her cute guilty look. And the problem was solved.

Month 22: February 16 2011
Few days ago, mommy lost the dishwasher dispenser. She and addy looked everywhere for it. Then Daddy got a briiliant idea "let's ask Lana". When asked, Lana pointed to the kitchen cabinet, with a guilty look on her face. Then she grabbed a bag from the cabinet, opened it, and handed over the dispenser. She got a big kiss from daddy, as a reward

Lana got her first valentine gift!!!
Charlie offerred her a nice card.
Daddy was very concerned. Why is he offering her gifts? What does he want from her? What is he after?
The answer is obvious: her lunch...

Month 22: Feb 14 2011
When Lana's hands get dirty, even a little bit, she freezes them, and asks to be cleaned up right away.
Yesterday, she ate half a bowl of pasta with a fork, all by herself. She still refuses that anybody feeds her.
Few days ago, Lana bumped her head a little bit. She got a cotton ball, and started wiping her head with it :)
She usually changes hobbies pretty fast, but there are three hobbies that are still sticking:
- Water activities
- Constructions, like legos and puzzles. She loves manual work, and putting pieces together.
- Writing. She is always asking for Ckhhhou (i.e Crayons).

How lana received Daddy when he returned from Snowmass
When daddy arrived at the airport, Lana refused to look at him. She kept turning her face, facing the other side all the way back home.
Once home, daddy held her, and rodyet 3aleih. But she wouldn't let him put her down. He had to carry her all the time, even when it was time for her to sleep!

Month 22: February 10 2011
Lana has new pajamas with zippers. Mommy showed her how to zip them. Of course, now Lana realized she can also unzip them. She came in the morning to mommy's bedroom, completely naked! And she handed her pajama to mommy.
She recognizes shapes much better now. She places the circle, triangle and square in their right spot directly.
She even plays with boards with no matching picture. And she puts the complex elements on the board in their right place directly.

Month 22: Feb 11 2011
Lana is doing great in the new class. The teachers are amazed at how pleasant she is. She follows the commands very well. She gets along with all the other kids. She loves circle time, where they dance and sing. She mastered the concept of circle time from the first day. She was following the teachers directions very well.
At home is another story :) It is not easy to get Lana to do something.
She now goes into her car seat by herself.
She loves the flash cards, especially when she pulls the card and sees the picture.
Water games are still her favorite: blowing bubbles, and playing with them during the bath. We always have to drag her out of the bath.
Another favorite game of her: wearing mommy and daddy’s shoes, and walking around with them, with a huge smile on her face.
She does not seem to mind the cold weather. She still wants to play outside, even if the temperature is below zero.
At home is another story :) It is not easy to get Lana to do something.
She now goes into her car seat by herself.

February 1st: a historical day for Lana
Lana started in a new class today: ECPII. Mommy was concerned that she might not like it. When she went to pick her up in the evening, what did the report say??
Lana ate all her food!!!!!!!!!!! This never ever happened before!
Lana barely eats 10 or 20% of her lunch. She suddenly ate all of it. And on the way back home, she kept asking mommy for food!!!!
Mommy had tears in her eyes. Her dream was to hear Lana asking for "moooooooo" food.
Let's hope she will stay on the good track
