Lana driving her red Corvette

Month 13: May 29 2010

Lana went swimming for the first time, in her Dora diapers. It wasn't the best experience of her life, but she accepted it fine. And at some points, she enjoyed it.
She now has 3 back teeth.

When mommy hears daddy’s car coming in, she tells Lana “Daddy’s home”. Lana understands the message and runs to the door to meet daddy.

Independence day is here!

Lana no longer accepts to be fed or rocked to sleep. She wants to do everything by herself.
She is now into finger food only. And her latest fashion is sleeping on the floor! Mommy got her a floor mattress, but Lana does not want to restrict herself to the mattress. She moves around the house at night. One day, mommy woke up and found Lana sleeping on the floor, next to her!

She can stand up for few seconds now without holding onto anything. And she is occasionally doing few steps.

She likes to play peekaboo with Mommy and Daddy.

Lana's biggest passion remains paper, but she lately developed a great taste for nature, flowers and grass, that she is digesting very well.

She no longer accepts to be spoon fed. She wants to pick food byherself. Her favorites are cheese slices. She is also eating turkey slices, pasta, eggs, waffles and peas.

The second back tooth showed up.

Lana started practicing swapping. She is using Alex's blue sippy cup, and Alex is using her pink sippy cup.
