Lana with Argeele

Ya lahwee redoolee bentee 3ala amerka, ma fee falaten metl lebnan!

Nabil

Month 6: October 15

Lana tried a new menu yesterday: boiled carrots.
She did not seem to like them very much. And she woke up at night with colic's.

Today mommy gave her carrots again. She ate the whole jar with pleasure.

Month 6: October 13

Lana developed a diarrhea 2 weeks ago. The doctor did not seem worried. He said this is normal.

Weight: 6.4 kilos.

Mommy was alone in the room with Lana. The phone rang and mommy put it on speaker-phone. Lana was all puzzled to see somebody speaking through the phone. She started looking around to find who is speaking, then she stared at the cell phone with astonished eyes, trying to understand how come it is talking :)

Month 5: September 30

While mommy was giving Lana a shower, she grabbed a plastic book that was next to the "baignoire", opened it and started looking at the pictures. It seems she is more creative in the shower!

She is sleeping better through the night. She wakes up few times and returns immediately back to sleep once mommy puts back the pacifier in her mouth.

Milestones this month:
- Sleeps through the night
- Very smiley and cheerful with everybody.
- Masters her hand movements more and more.
- Started cereals and liked them.
- Developed a sleeping and eating schedule
- Holds the bottle with one hand while drinking milk
- Grabs the spoon and tries to feed herself.
- Lifts both arms and feet while lying on her stomach.
- Turns and twists in all directions.
- Removes and puts back the pacifier in her mouth

Month 5: September 20

Lana can sit on the couch by herself, without human support, but with the support of the back of the couch.

She watches mommy prepare her food with great interest. She is eating better and is gaining weight. She starts milk in the bottle, and finishes what remains from it with cereals or biscuits.
She developed a new way to reject food: pouf! She blows food from her mouth and ends up with all her face full of food! Including mom also :)

Her physical strength is developing very well. She is now elevating her head completely to help me undress her or put the bavette. She is sleeping through the night but still fussy and wakes up multiple times when she loses the pacifier.

She removes the pacifier from her mouth and puts it back, but "de maniere gauche".

She extends her hands to grab things and holds on to them very well.

She is much more aware of the things going around her. She smiles to everybody and enjoys moving from one person to another. But at the end of the day, she wants mommy when it's time to sleep. Everybody is surprised how much smiley she is.
