Month 6: October 30
Visit to the doctor to get the vaccines.
Lana got the regular flu and the swine flu vaccine.
- Height: 26.5 inches (67.31 cm). Still on the 75th percentile.
- Weight: 14 pounds 10 oz (6.6 kg). Still on the 25th percentile.
- FOC: 15 + 3/4 inch
Milestones this month:
- She got two teeth without significant pain or issues.
- She can sit in the boppy pillow.
- She grabs everything that she sees and puts it in her mouth. She can manipulate objects in her hands, and move an object from one hand to another.
- She loves throwing objects and then leaning over to look for the fallen object.
- She is eating vegetables and fruits. She loves carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas, apples and pears.
- She is socializing more and more. She plays with mommy and loves to be tickled.
- She can play on her own for 10 to 15 mins.
- She is loosing her hair!

Lana tried a new menu yesterday: boiled carrots.
She did not seem to like them very much. And she woke up at night with colic's.
Today mommy gave her carrots again. She ate the whole jar with pleasure.

Month 6: October 13
Lana developed a diarrhea 2 weeks ago. The doctor did not seem worried. He said this is normal.
Weight: 6.4 kilos.
Mommy was alone in the room with Lana. The phone rang and mommy put it on speaker-phone. Lana was all puzzled to see somebody speaking through the phone. She started looking around to find who is speaking, then she stared at the cell phone with astonished eyes, trying to understand how come it is talking :)
