Updates
Today (March 1 2013) represents a major milestone in Lana's life. She accepted to give up titina all night!.
Her updates:
- It has been a while that Lana inquires about everything that is mentioned in her presence, even when she is not part of the conversation. Whenever mommy and daddy are talking to each others in arabic, she pops the question: "what did you say?'. She asks this question more than 10 times a day. Mommy and daddy are very proud of her for wanting to understand what is being said around her.
- She also wants to understand the words. So she asks 'what does this mean' very often. And then when she learns the word, she says it herself, and provides the translation. Like 'ecole' means 'school'. 'voiture' means 'car'.
- She is becoming more and more american, with the 'cool' terminology. She tells mommy 'no, silly girl'. The other day, she called her friends and said 'hey guys, I am spraying the door with water. Isn't that cool!'.
- She became attached to her stuffed animals. Like puppy dog and baby monkey
- Her language got to the extend where she is correcting her parents.
'Daddy, this is not a jacket, it is a coat'
' Mommy, this is not a basket, it is a bucket. A basket has a handle'
'This is a ball, not a balloon'
'This is a sweater, not a Tshirt'
Mommy say her balancing a rope and asked her 'Are you a cowboy?'. Lana answered 'No, of course not. This is a jumping rope, not a cowboy rope'.
- She loves her baby sister a lot. She gives her her favourite toys, like baby monkey. She also sings to her, and helps give her the bath. She admittedly says 'this is for Katrina'.
- When a movie contains violence on TV, Lana says 'this is a bad movie' and asks to change the channel.
- Lana's hobbies:
